Der Fluß (The river)
This piece is originally written for piano and violin and is based on 'Streaming' by Hoelderlin. I wrote it in June and July 1993 and gave it to Jan de Rooy, the violin-teacher and novelist, before mentioned by 'Branoul'. In October an November 1996 I arranged it for piano, flute, soprano- and baritone-saxophone.
