Thoughts and dreams
This composition was based on 'Rare bird', a song by the German rock-group Hoelderlin. The lyrics of this song were based on the live of Friedrich Hölderlin, the German poet where the group was named after. I wrote it for Jan de Rooy, the violin teacher who was quite enthusiastic about 'Branoul'. I wrote it in three days in July 1993 and finally decided to record it myself with synthesizers.
